How to Install Your GMC or Chevy Navigation Disc
Once you’ve acquired your update disc, the installation process is quick and easy. The four step process takes less than five minutes.
Step 1: Start your vehicle and leave it in park.
Step 2: Press the POWER button, then the NAV button, found on the left-hand side of the system.
Step 3: Tap the “Insert Map Disc” option located in the center of the navigation screen. A disc slot will open.
Step 4: Insert the Navigation Update Disc. The disc slot will automatically close and the navigation system will automatically install the updates.
